About the role

Corporate Business team at HDFC ERGO drives growth and portfolio management for corporate insurance in South India. The Deputy Vice President leads new business acquisition, renewal retention, and oversees portfolio quality, risk management, and loss ratio performance while managing relationships with large corporate clients and brokers. Bangalore, India, on-site, hybrid schedule as defined by company policy.

What you’ll do

• Drive new business acquisition and renewal retention for corporate insurance products
• Achieve premium and profitability targets
• Oversee portfolio quality, risk management, and loss ratio performance
• Build and manage relationships with large corporate clients and brokers
• Act as senior escalation point for key accounts and strategic partnerships
• Strengthen broker engagement to increase wallet share
• Ensure timely service delivery and resolve complex service and claims escalations
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and operations to align business goals

What you’ll bring

• 12-14 years experience in corporate insurance or financial services
• Proven track record in business growth and portfolio management
• Strong relationship management with corporate clients and brokers
• Experience overseeing risk management and loss ratio performance
