Business Head

About the role

Noise, a leading wearables tech brand, seeks a Business Head for Emerging Business in Gurgaon. The role requires an ex‑founder or early‑stage leader with 10–15 years of experience, strong fundraising background, and proven ability to own P&L and scale new categories. Responsibilities include defining category strategy, building GTM plans, leading cross‑functional teams, driving growth, fundraising, and stakeholder management. The position offers autonomy, significant ESOPs, and the chance to shape a new consumer category.

What you’ll do

• P&L Ownership: Drive topline growth, profitability, and long-term value creation for the category.
• Strategy & Execution: Define category strategy, build GTM plans, and lead cross-functional execution to deliver results.
• Fundraising: Partner with leadership/founder team to explore and raise capital, leveraging prior fundraising experience.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation.
• Business Development: Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and customer acquisition channels to expand the category.
• Customer-Centric Growth: Build products, experiences, and strategies tailored to evolving customer needs.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, to align on business priorities.

What you’ll bring

• Ex-founder / ex-co-founder / early-stage leader with proven experience in building and scaling a business.
• Strong experience in fundraising (seed/Series A/B preferred) and investor relations.
• 10–15 years of experience across entrepreneurship, business leadership, or high-growth startups.
• Strong strategic thinking with a bias for execution and results.
• Proven ability to own and drive P&L.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
• Passion for consumer businesses; experience in building and scaling new categories a strong plus.
