About the role
Tech GCS Cyber Security Operations Centre at ANZ builds secure, scalable identity solutions for the bank. The Senior Identity Engineer leads strategy, design and delivery of enterprise IAM platforms, shaping modern authentication patterns and onboarding applications across cloud, on‑prem and hybrid environments. Bengaluru, hybrid work model, with flexible hours and relocation support available.
What you’ll do
- Define technical strategy and architecture for IAM solutions
- Implement and customize Ping Identity components for SSO, MFA, STS
- Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure scalability, resilience, compliance and cost‑effectiveness
- Manage technical debt, risks and security posture
- Collaborate with product, security, architecture and operations teams
- Provide SME guidance and mentor junior engineers
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years IAM experience
- Hands‑on with Ping Identity suite (Access, Federate, Directory, Proxy)
- Deep knowledge of SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, FIDO, SPIFFE/SPIRE
- Designing enterprise IAM architectures
- Developing custom adapters/plugins
- CI/CD and DevOps automation in AWS/GCP/Azure
- Mentoring engineers and driving secure design practices
- Exposure to Entra ID or ForgeRock a plus
