Applied AI Solution Architect

About the role

phData seeks an Applied AI Solution Architect to lead the Agentic Delivery Center, designing and implementing production-ready agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients. This remote role involves architecting scalable systems, building reusable accelerators, and mentoring teams across India, US, and LATAM. The position focuses on delivering measurable business outcomes through robust LLM-powered applications.

What you’ll do

• Lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients
• Design and build reusable agentic accelerators and reference architectures aligned with company standards
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear, production-grade agentic solution designs
• Establish the foundation of the India Agentic Delivery Center by developing patterns and tooling
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure high-quality deliverables and security compliance
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, shaping roadmaps and strategic decisions
• Mentor team members and contribute to internal IP development and practice standards

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years experience as AI/ML Engineer or Software Engineer building production AI/ML solutions
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models, agentic architectures, and RAG frameworks
• Proficiency in prompt design, context engineering, tool/function calling, and orchestration tools like LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Experience designing evaluation, guardrail, and observability strategies for LLM systems
• Strong programming skills in Python and deep expertise in cloud-native AI/ML platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
• Proven track record of delivering projects in a professional services or consulting environment

Nice to have

• Experience building reusable accelerators or modular codebases deployed across multiple clients
• Industry experience in life sciences, retail, financial services, or manufacturing
• Contributions to open source technology stacks or technical communities related to AI
