About the role
Milliman India - Non-Life Actuarial Team. The team provides actuarial consulting for general insurance, building reserving, pricing and analytical models. As an Actuarial Analyst trainee you will extract and validate data, develop actuarial models and support client deliverables using Excel, SQL, R, Python and AI tools. Gurgaon, India, on-site.
What you’ll do
- Data extraction, validation and analysis using Excel, SQL, R, Python, SAS or VBA
- Support general insurance reserving, pricing and actuarial modelling assignments
- Assist with research, experience studies and regulatory analysis
- Prepare client reports, presentations and project deliverables
- Develop and use actuarial models, including proprietary tools
- Support process automation and analytical solutions using programming and AI tools
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 3 actuarial exams (IAI or IFoA)
- Pursuing or recent graduate in actuarial science, mathematics or quantitative field
- Strong quantitative aptitude and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Working knowledge of R, Python, SQL, SAS or VBA
