About the role

Chief Investment Office, Treasury and Corporate Risk team at JPMorgan Chase focuses on managing market risk for the retained portfolio across fixed income and corporate treasury. The role develops fixed income expertise, produces analytics, monitors risk positions, and collaborates with quantitative teams to improve models and reporting. Based in Mumbai, on-site work, the associate supports portfolio managers, presents risk insights to senior leadership, and drives process and technology improvements.

What you’ll do

• Develop fixed income market expertise and produce bespoke analytics
• Monitor daily market risk positions and identify material exposures
• Present risk changes and deep‑dive analyses to senior risk management
• Update and implement financial risk models in collaboration with quantitative teams
• Drive process efficiencies and support technology initiatives
• Collaborate on risk standards and represent CTC Market Risk in cross‑functional projects
• Respond to urgent ad‑hoc requests from senior risk leaders

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years risk management or fixed income experience
• Strong knowledge of rates products (UST, TIPS, IR Swap, etc.)
• Experience with VaR, stress testing, and risk governance
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences
• Proficiency in Excel/VBA/Bloomberg; ability to learn Python
