About the role

Core Platforms & Services team at Motorola Solutions builds and operates critical cloud infrastructure for public safety SaaS solutions. The Cloud Ops Engineer designs, provisions, and manages Kubernetes clusters across multi‑cloud environments, automates infrastructure with Python/Bash, and maintains CI/CD pipelines and monitoring. Bangalore, India, on‑site role, hybrid schedule as needed.

What you’ll do

• Provision and manage Kubernetes lifecycle across multi‑cloud and self‑hosted clusters
• Design and implement network, cloud, and security architecture for public safety solutions
• Develop automation scripts in Python/Bash to reduce operational friction
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for application delivery
• Monitor platform health, define SLAs/SLOs, and ensure reliability
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver features and enhancements
• Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate scripting and manifest authoring
• Participate in daily stand‑ups and cross‑team reviews

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in network, security, or cloud/devops engineering
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong Kubernetes expertise (EKS/AKS/GKE, self‑hosted)
• Proficient with Helm charts
• Python and Bash scripting skills
• CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub or Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of L3/L4 networking and firewalls
