About the role
Commercial Banking – Healthcare & Consumer team at Citi delivers industry‑focused banking solutions to mid‑market clients, covering sectors like healthcare, consumer, and technology. The Assistant Vice President will partner with Senior Relationship Managers to service and grow a portfolio of international clients, handling relationship management, credit analysis, product implementation, and cross‑team collaboration. Bangalore, Karnataka, India, hybrid work model (3 days onsite).
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain client relationships across Citi’s global network
- Support Senior Relationship Managers in portfolio management and client onboarding
- Collaborate with product, underwriting, and risk teams to deliver banking solutions
- Conduct credit analysis, financial spreading, and deal structuring
- Prepare pitch books, meeting materials, and sales CRM updates
- Ensure compliance with KYC and regulatory standards
- Drive a ‘Client First’ approach and cross‑functional coordination
- Identify risks and opportunities to enhance client relationships
What you’ll bring
- 5-8 years of experience
- Previous banking experience
- Commercial/Corporate banking background
- Client relationship or client‑facing experience
- Strong sales, presentation and communication skills
- Analytical and credit analysis abilities
- High self‑motivation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM applications
