About the role

Digital Verification CAD Support & Methodology Enablement team at NXP Semiconductors builds and maintains scalable verification infrastructure and automation flows for ASIC/SoC development. The Senior CAD Engineer provides primary support to design and verification teams, troubleshooting simulation, regression, and coverage issues, deploying and integrating EDA tools, and optimizing compute farm resources. Noida, India, on-site work model, with collaboration across global DV and infrastructure teams.

What you’ll do

• Act as primary support interface for DV teams troubleshooting simulation and regression flows
• Collaborate to identify bottlenecks and provide solutions
• Deploy, integrate, and maintain CAD tools and scripts
• Support EDA tool usage and resolve tool/flow issues
• Work with vendors to track and debug tool problems
• Maintain regression and CI/CD systems for stable execution
• Monitor compute farm usage and optimize resource utilization
• Provide methodology guidance and training to verification engineers

What you’ll bring

• 8-12 years digital verification/CAD support experience
• Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics Engineering
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog and UVM
• Scripting in Python/Tcl/Perl
• Linux environment expertise
• Experience with EDA tools (VCS, Xcelium, Verdi, vManager)

Nice to have

• Experience with regression and CI/CD systems
• Familiarity with AI/ML-based DV tools (e.g., Cadence Verisium AI) is a plus
