India Payroll Operations Specialist

About the role

Global Payroll Operations team at Rippling ensures the success of its global payroll products. The specialist will execute timely filings and payments for Indian customers, resolve issues with government agencies, and serve as the primary liaison for client support. They will partner with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to align the native payroll software with compliance requirements and prioritize internal tooling. Bangalore office, on-site with at least three days a week, overlap US hours as needed.

What you’ll do

• Execute filings and payments for Indian payroll customers
• Drive issue resolution and communication with government agencies
• Collaborate with engineering and product to ensure software compliance
• Prioritize and implement internal tooling requirements
• Manage and resolve a queue of customer support tickets

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years Indian payroll compliance experience
• 4+ years client‑facing role
• Strong knowledge of TDS, PT, EPF and related tax regulations
• Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office for data analysis
• Ability to overlap with EST/PST US hours
• Strong written and verbal English communication
