Senior Specialty Software Engineer

About the role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Specialty Software Engineer in Hyderabad, India to lead or participate in complex initiatives on selected domains. Day-to-day work includes assuring quality, security, and compliance for supported systems, serving as a technical resource for software solutions, designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs using Agile development practices, and collaborating with peers and managers to resolve issues. The role also involves reviewing user needs, creating test data, conducting interface and unit tests, and ensuring compliance and risk management requirements are met.

What you’ll do

• Lead or participate in complex initiatives on selected domains
• Assure quality, security, and compliance for supported systems and applications
• Serve as a technical resource in finding software solutions
• Review and evaluate user needs and determine requirements
• Provide technical support, advice, and consultation with issues relating to supported applications
• Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices
• Conduct research and resolve problems in relation to processes and recommend solutions and process improvements

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• Lead or participate in complex initiatives on selected domains

• Serve as a technical resource in finding software solutions
