About the role

Structural Engineering Team at WSP provides comprehensive CAD/Revit support for infrastructure projects. The Senior BIM Technician creates and coordinates detailed structural models, produces high‑quality drawings, and ensures compliance with BIM Execution Plans and industry standards. Based in Bengaluru with hybrid work (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and occasional collaboration with the Noida office.

What you’ll do

  • Assist project inception reviews and develop drawing strategies
  • Produce coordinated building models and detailed structural drawings
  • Ensure models meet WSP CAD standards and perform self‑checks for errors
  • Coordinate with architectural and MEP models within CDE
  • Follow QA procedures, document control, and CDM guidelines
  • Provide advice and coaching on intermediate CAD functions
  • Monitor work and fee tracking documents
  • Contribute to BIM Execution Plan compliance

What you’ll bring

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or higher
  • 8+ years structural detailing and drafting experience
  • Team management experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360, Navisworks
  • Knowledge of PAS1192, BS1192 standards
  • Experience with Common Data Environment (CDE)
  • Understanding of structural mechanics and RIBA work stages
  • Ability to coach junior staff
