Associate Manager - Operation & Maintenance

About the role
Adani Power’s Operations & Maintenance team in Mundra, Gujarat, drives the day‑to‑day performance of thermal power plant systems—Boiler, Turbine, Generator, BOP, switchyard and FGD units—ensuring optimal output, energy efficiency and environmental compliance. The Associate Manager leads control‑room monitoring, start‑up/shut‑down procedures, emergency response, and digitization initiatives to sustain plant reliability and safety. Based in Mundra, the role is on‑site with a focus on local plant operations and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
- Monitor plant systems and execute start‑up/shut‑down
- Respond to operational deviations and emergencies
- Lead FGD operations and environmental compliance
- Drive energy conservation metrics (SOC, APC, DM Water, Heat Rate)
- Implement digitization and automation strategies
- Ensure safety and adherence to IMS, AWMS, DISHA, CHETNA
What you’ll bring
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 9+ years in thermal power plant operations
- Experience with Boiler, Turbine, Generator, BOP, Switchyard, FGD
