Principal Engineer, Dotnet Fullstack (React)

About the role

Nagarro seeks a Principal Engineer to lead full-stack development using .NET and React, driving architectural decisions and technical design for digital products. The role involves mentoring teams, defining NFR guidelines, and ensuring scalable, secure solutions across diverse technologies. This is a remote position based in India.

What you’ll do

• Writing and reviewing high-quality code and design documents
• Translating client business use cases into elegant technical designs
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements (NFRs)
• Reviewing architecture for extensibility, scalability, security, and best practices
• Developing overall solutions for functional and non-functional requirements
• Mapping technical decisions to requirements and guiding developers
• Conducting POCs to validate suggested designs and technologies
• Resolving complex issues through systematic root cause analysis

What you’ll bring

• 11+ years of total experience
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, IT, or related field

Nice to have

• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Deep knowledge of OOP, Microservices architecture, REST, and Service-oriented architecture
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and PowerShell
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL databases
• Understanding of design patterns, concurrent design, and multithreading
• Strong troubleshooting skills across disparate technologies
• Ability to mentor team members and communicate technical solutions effectively
