Associate Principal Engineer, Dotnet AI Architect

About the role

Nagarro seeks an Associate Principal Engineer to lead architectural design for multi-tiered digital products and data applications. The role involves guiding engineering teams, defining technical strategies, and integrating AI solutions using modern cloud infrastructure. This full-time position is based in India with a remote work model.

What you’ll do

• Provide proactive design leadership and direction to multiple engineering teams
• Lead the architectural design of multi-tiered products and data applications
• Manage application portfolios to address technology debt and mitigate risks
• Translate client business use cases into elegant technical designs
• Define guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements (NFRs)
• Write and review high-level design documents and architecture diagrams
• Conduct proof-of-concept solutions to validate technology choices
• Mentor team members and empower them as solution providers

What you’ll bring

• 11+ years of total experience
• Expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API
• Experience designing full-stack solutions and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in Azure/AWS cloud architectures and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools, MCP, and LLM ethical considerations

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong background in SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Terraform
• Ability to mentor teams and communicate effectively with senior management
