Coding Denials Specialist

About the role

Ventra Health Radiology Business Unit is focused on revenue cycle management for radiology practices. The Coding Denials Specialist investigates and resolves health plan denials, generates appeals, and escalates when needed, ensuring accurate coding and compliance. Coimbatore, onsite, full-time role with performance-based incentive plan and referral bonus.

What you’ll do

• Investigate and resolve claim denials and coding issues
• Validate denial reasons and ensure accurate coding
• Generate and submit appeals per payer guidelines
• Escalate unresolved appeals for further action
• Maintain production and quality standards
• Complete special projects as assigned
• Collaborate with team to achieve shared goals

What you’ll bring

• 1-3 years experience in physician medical billing
• Current AAPC or AHIMA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of health insurance coding and reimbursement guidelines
• Proficient in Excel and other computer applications
