About the role

Ventra Health Radiology Business Unit seeks a Coding Denials Specialist to manage claim edits and resolve health plan denials, ensuring accurate coding and timely appeals. The role investigates denial reasons, generates appeals per payer guidelines, and escalates unresolved cases while maintaining production and quality standards. Coimbatore, on-site, full-time, with performance-based incentive plan and referral bonus.

What you’ll do

• Investigate and resolve health plan denials
• Validate denial reasons and ensure coding accuracy
• Generate and submit appeals per payer guidelines
• Escalate unresolved appeals for resolution
• Adhere to departmental production and quality standards
• Complete special projects as assigned

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years physician medical billing experience
• Current AAPC or AHIMA certification
• Knowledge of health insurance coding
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
