About the role

The HDD Firmware Architect defines firmware architecture, leads cross‑functional development, and mentors engineers to deliver high‑performance, reliable storage firmware for enterprise devices. Bengaluru, on-site, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Define overall firmware architecture for HDD and storage platforms
- Design scalable, modular firmware frameworks for enterprise storage products
- Lead development of storage subsystems, data management, error recovery and performance optimization
- Architect solutions supporting SATA, NVMe and related interfaces
- Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, validation and system engineering teams
- Mentor firmware engineers and drive technical excellence
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 9+ years HDD or storage firmware development
