About the role

Senior UI Developer at Amgen, a leading biotechnology company, will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality user interfaces for enterprise applications. Working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers, you will lead UI development for the Enterprise Sensing Capability, own projects from concept to deployment, and mentor junior developers. You will build responsive, accessible UIs using React.js or Angular.js, integrate cloud services (AWS/GCP), and apply generative AI to create innovative solutions. Your responsibilities include rapid prototyping, code reviews, documentation of architecture and disaster recovery, performance optimization, and ensuring compliance with UI/UX best practices. You will collaborate across cross‑functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and continuously improve processes. This role requires strong programming skills, experience with Git, Agile, and modern front‑end frameworks, and a passion for delivering impactful software that supports Amgen’s mission to serve patients worldwide.
