About the role
SOC Verification Team at Microsoft builds robust debug and verification solutions for system‑on‑chip designs. The Senior SOC Debug Verification Engineer leads verification strategy, creates test environments, runs and debugs tests, and mentors engineers while collaborating across hardware and software groups. Based in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, or Noida with an on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Own verification of Design for Debug SOC flows and schedule estimation
- Develop verification strategy, requirements, environments, tools, and methodologies
- Write test plans, generators, benches, checkers, and coverage models
- Run tests, debug failures, root‑cause analysis, and recommend fixes
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team
- Collaborate with partners to improve design and verification processes
- Support post‑silicon validation plans and debug activities
- Apply generative AI solutions to verification work
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years pre‑silicon SOC verification
- 2+ years design‑for‑debug verification
- Experience with SOC DFD verification full product cycle
- Hands‑on with ARM CoreSight debug components
- Familiarity with ARM AMBA protocols
- Agile software practice experience
- Proficient leadership and mentorship
- Eligibility for export‑controlled information
