Analyst (Finance & Statutory Audits)

About the role

At DuPont in Hyderabad, Telangana, the Analyst (Finance & Statutory Audits) ensures data integrity of subsidiary financial statements, USGAAP compliance, and serves as the focal point for audits. Day-to-day work includes defining accounting procedures, reviewing SAP financial statements, coordinating with tax and external auditors, and driving process improvements. This is a full-time hybrid role requiring 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience.

What you’ll do

• Ensure integrity of financial statements by defining accounting procedures compliant with local policies
• Review SAP Income Statement and Balance Sheet, and analyze trends for fluctuation analysis
• Investigate USGAAP and local books differences and ensure corrective actions for appropriate financial reporting
• Act as focal point for external financial and statutory filings to meet internal auditing and governmental requirements
• Ensure timely completion of external audit by coordinating with external auditors and addressing audit comments
• Act as consultant to Controllers and Finance processes on financial accounting and internal control matters
• Coordinate with tax for submissions such as tax bulletin and deferred tax template
• Drive change to reduce complexity and improvise work processes

What you’ll bring

• Qualified Chartered Accountant/CMA/ICWA
• 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience
• Understanding of USGAAP and IFRS
• Understanding SOX controls
• Sound knowledge in Financial Accounting and Auditing
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management

Nice to have

• Previous experience in Accounts Finalization
• Knowledge of SAP or any other ERP
• Any additional qualifications beyond CA/CMA
