Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Retail Operations at V-MART RETAIL LTD. Oversees daily store performance, driving sales, customer service, inventory, and visual merchandising to meet profitability goals. Manages a team of associates, handles cash and billing, ensures compliance, and conducts on‑the‑job training. India, on-site, full-time.

What you’ll do

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Drive conversion, ATV, and UPT metrics
• Maintain store operations and SOP compliance
• Oversee inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage
• Supervise staff, create duty rosters, and motivate team
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute promotions
• Handle cash, POS operations, and daily reconciliation
• Prepare and submit regular performance reports

What you’ll bring

• 3-4 years retail management experience
• Proven track record achieving sales targets
• Experience with inventory control and stock replenishment
• Strong customer service and complaint resolution skills
• Ability to train and develop store staff
