Business Analyst Consultant

About the role

The Business Analyst Consultant at symplr supports internal teams by aligning symplr product configurations to customer business requirements, updating documentation, performing testing, and facilitating training. Day-to-day work includes creating process diagrams, data mapping documents, end-user training materials, and consultative recommendations, plus troubleshooting configuration issues and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Support teams. This non-client-facing role is based in Bangalore, KA, IN, works night shifts to support US healthcare clients, and is remote.

What you’ll do

  • Align the configuration of symplr products to meet the customer’s stated business requirements
  • Schedule and facilitate online and onsite training courses on symplr products
  • Provide customer deliverables including documenting and diagraming business processes, creating end-user training materials, and data mapping documents
  • Assist customers with the establishment of change management plans, including best practice consultation
  • Work across the symplr implementation team to ensure customer deliverables align with desired outcomes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and configuration issues
  • Evaluate implementation methodology and best practices regularly and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams for successful implementations

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in consulting, implementation, or business analysis
  • 3 years of experience consulting in the healthcare industry or experience with symplr products
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel, and workflow software such as Microsoft Visio
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, articulating, listening, and questioning
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to facilitate a diverse audience to obtain defined objectives and outcomes
  • Willingness to work night shifts supporting US clients

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and compliance
  • Exposure to SQL or reporting tools
  • Experience in healthcare IT / SaaS / enterprise applications
