About the role
Quality Engineer II at Jabil supports the quality function for manufacturing issues, developing QA plans, supporting quoting and inspection processes, and coordinating corrective actions with suppliers and customers. The role also handles documentation, trend analysis, training, and technical liaison work across departments. Based in India, this is a full-time remote position.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings reflecting intended and actual activities
- Support quoting activities through participation in initial process design, development, and implementation
- Evaluate and support inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines
- Support training programs by developing and implementing specialized training sessions
- Conduct periodic review and maintenance of documentation files and develop document storage and access systems
- Review supplier or customer discrepancies and coordinate and track corrective/preventative action efforts
- Provide trend analysis of defects occurring at the customer, supplier, and internally
- Participate in vendor survey activities and drive proactive supplier process improvement efforts
What you’ll bring
