About the role
NVH CAE Engineer on the CAE Body Performance Development team at Applus+ IDIADA, building and simulating vehicle NVH models in NASTRAN, ANSA, and HyperMesh to meet client performance targets. The role leads full‑vehicle and subsystem NVH load cases, performs modal, FRF, and transfer path analyses, and delivers detailed technical reports to clients. Pune, India, in‑person work model with on‑site presence required.
What you’ll do
- Lead NVH simulation projects
- Build and evaluate full‑vehicle and subsystem FE models
- Perform modal, FRF, and dynamic stiffness analyses
- Interpret acoustic and vibration results
- Prepare detailed technical reports
- Present findings to clients
- Mentor junior team members
- Ensure quality and timeline adherence
What you’ll bring
- 2-5 years vehicle-level NVH analysis
- Proficiency in NASTRAN (SOL101, SOL103, SOL108, SOL111, SOL200)
- Experience with ANSA/HyperMesh pre‑processing
- Post‑processing in META/HyperView
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics and FEM
- Ability to interpret acoustic metrics (SPL, dB, dB(A))
- Knowledge of modal alignment and transfer path analysis
- Programming/scripting in Python or TCL
