About the role
AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre (GTC) Canada Business seeks a Lead Designer to build and manage high‑performance 3D highway models and 2D deliverables for major transportation projects. The role extracts data from Civil 3D models, produces drawings, schedules, and quality‑controlled outputs while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams in the Common Data Environment. Based in Bangalore, the position offers a hybrid work model with flexible onsite and remote options.
What you’ll do
- Extract 3D model data for 2D drawings and schedules
- Produce highway discipline 3D models and 2D deliverables
- Ensure quality control and compliance with standards
- Support staff in model and drawing extraction
- Maintain BIM software competency
- Collaborate within the CDE workflow
- Provide over‑the‑shoulder support
- Drive continuous BIM upskilling
What you’ll bring
- 5-9 years civil engineering experience
- Advanced Autodesk Civil 3D and MicroStation skills
- Expertise in ProjectWise and BIM 360
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
- Bilingual English communication
- Experience with highway design standards
- Project management in multidisciplinary teams
- Initiative and ownership of technical issues
