Digital Health Integration Specialist, Applied AI

About the role

WJCF’s Digital Health Integration team embedded within India’s National Health Authority drives AI‑enabled health data integration for the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. The specialist designs, prototypes and deploys agentic AI workflows and next‑gen sandbox solutions to automate ABHA, HPR and HFR registration, ensuring privacy‑by‑design under the DPDP Act. Based in New Delhi, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration across WJCF and NHA teams, offering direct impact on national digital health scaling.

What you’ll do

• Design and prototype agentic AI workflows for ABHA, HPR and HFR onboarding
• Build and enhance Sandbox 2.0 AI components and integration pipelines
• Develop solution architectures, data pipelines and integration patterns for AI models
• Embed privacy‑by‑design and data governance into all workflows
• Prepare technical specifications, RFPs and evaluate vendor solutions
• Provide agile technical support across multiple digital health tracks
• Document decisions and build institutional capability within NHA
• Collaborate with WJCF and NHA leadership to align AI integration priorities

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years AI/ML or data science experience
• Hands‑on delivery of AI solutions in production
• Bachelor's or master's in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or related field
• Strong Python skills and experience with LLM/agentic frameworks
• Experience with APIs, microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency in data pipelines/ETL tools like Airflow or dbt
• Knowledge of DPDP Act 2023 and health data governance
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
