About the role
Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) V&V team ensures reliable transit software by developing and executing system test strategies. The Senior Engineer leads test personnel, creates test plans, cases, procedures, and reports, and coordinates with software developers, hardware engineers, and customers to validate complex engineering software in embedded environments. Hyderabad, India, on-site role with occasional travel to customer sites and vendor locations.
What you’ll do
- Develop and manage system test concepts and objectives
- Create and maintain test plans, cases, procedures, and reports
- Lead and mentor test personnel, providing guidance and training
- Coordinate test resources, budgets, and schedules
- Conduct integration, formal system, and readiness reviews
- Interface with customers, contractors, vendors, and QA for issue resolution
- Maintain test requirements database and environment
What you’ll bring
Bachelor's degree in Technology (B Tech) or Master’s in Computer Application (MCA)
Nice to have
- 6+ years manual software testing
- Experience testing complex engineering software
- Embedded environment testing experience
- SQL and database knowledge
- Familiarity with C++, C#, Java, JIRA, TCP/IP, UNIX
- Proficient in MS Office and Visio
- Transit domain or AFCS knowledge preferred
- Test automation experience preferred
