What you’ll do
- Lead technical direction across data engineering workstreams
- Design, build, and optimise data lake architectures using data mesh
- Develop and maintain AWS‑native data platforms
- Implement DevOps best practices with Terraform and CI/CD
- Embed automated testing, monitoring, and data quality frameworks
- Mentor and guide engineering team members
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
- Troubleshoot and optimise data workflows for performance
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years data platform engineering
- Lead or Principal engineer experience
- Extensive AWS services (Glue, Lake Formation, Step Functions, SageMaker)
- Terraform and IaC expertise
- CI/CD pipeline development (Git, Jenkins)
- Advanced Python programming
- API integration and configuration‑as‑code
- Automated testing and data quality frameworks
