About the role
IN02 GEA Process Engineering (India) Pvt. Ltd. supports GEA's global engineering pool by delivering low‑cost electrical engineering resources for projects and internal standardization. The Associate Electrical Engineer validates designs, ensures compliance with UL508A, NEC and CSA standards, creates AutoCAD Electrical schematics, P&ID drawings, and supervises panel installation across dairy, food, pharma and chemical sites. Vadodara, India, on‑site work model with limited travel for site support and panel FAT.
What you’ll do
- Validate electrical designs and documentation
- Coordinate with electrical team and internal customers
- Perform panel load and heat loss calculations
- Select components for control panels
- Support site FAT and limited travel across India and abroad
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls or similar
- 3-7 years experience in dairy/food/beverage/pharma/chemical industry
- Exposure to UL508A
Nice to have
- Electrical design validation
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and standards
- Electrical panel design and layout using AutoCAD Electrical
- Prepare instrumentation and P&ID drawings
- Supervise electrical installation and validation on site
