About the role
Business Applications team at AspenTech drives enterprise HR solutions on Workday. The Principal Workday Analyst leads operational health, stability and continuous improvement of core HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Talent and Payroll across a global 24x7 model, managing a team of analysts and the Workday IT function. Works closely with HR, IT, finance and senior leadership to design, configure and secure Workday processes, integrations and reporting while ensuring compliance and SLA adherence. Pune, India, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Lead end‑to‑end operational management of Workday platform
- Own service desk ticket triage, resolution and stakeholder communication
- Drive root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Design, configure and optimize Workday business processes
- Develop and maintain Workday security architecture and roles
- Build and troubleshoot integrations using EIBs and Workday Studio
- Create advanced reports and calculated fields for compliance
- Mentor and develop junior Workday team members
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field
- 8+ years experience in HR/IT roles
- 5+ years hands‑on Workday experience across core modules
- Experience leading a small Workday analyst team
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance and GDPR
- Proven ability to manage 24x7 global platform operations
- Expertise in Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio)
- Advanced reporting and security administration
