About the role
Camera Validation Team at Quest Global develops and validates cutting‑edge camera and optics modules for diverse product lines. The role leads validation and characterization of camera systems, creates test plans, analyzes results, and drives root‑cause analysis with hardware and software teams. Based in Kerala, India, on‑site work required with occasional travel to client sites.
What you’ll do
- Lead validation and characterization of camera modules
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and validation strategies
- Analyze test results, identify issues and conduct root‑cause analysis
- Document processes, results and provide clear stakeholder reports
- Collaborate with hardware, software and product teams to meet performance requirements
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years product validation/testing experience with camera and optics
- Hands‑on experience with optical test equipment and image quality metrics
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with consumer electronics or wearables
- Familiarity with regulatory certification for camera optics
- Automation frameworks and scripting (Python, MATLAB)
- Hardware debugging and optical troubleshooting

Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Optics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
