About the role

Photon Group seeks an experienced RPA Developer to build and refine automation solutions using Automation Anywhere. The role focuses on designing, testing, and deploying bots that streamline business processes, collaborating closely with analysts and stakeholders to uncover automation opportunities. Candidates will apply Agile methodologies, ensuring rapid, high-quality delivery while maintaining robust documentation and error handling. The position requires deep expertise in RPA development, process automation, and integration with APIs, databases, and enterprise applications. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of AI/ML automation, UIPath, Blue Prism, and process mining tools is highly desirable. This contract role is based in India and offers the chance to contribute to Photon Group’s digital modernization initiatives across Fortune 500 clients.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA bots
  • Collaborate with analysts to identify automation opportunities
  • Ensure high-quality code with documentation and error handling
  • Optimize existing automations for performance
  • Follow Agile practices for rapid delivery
  • Work with infrastructure and security teams for deployment
  • Troubleshoot production issues promptly
  • Maintain coding standards and reusable components

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years RPA development experience
  • Proficiency with Automation Anywhere
  • Strong process automation and exception handling
  • Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development experience
  • API, database, and enterprise app integration skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI/ML-based automation
  • Knowledge of UIPath, Blue Prism or similar RPA tools
  • Python, Java, or .NET programming skills
  • Process mining and workflow automation familiarity
