About the role
VikingCloud is a Predict-to-Prevent cybersecurity and compliance company powered by the Asgard Platform™, serving over 4 million customers with predictive risk-mitigation intelligence. The Sales Administrator is a non-revenue-generating support role based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, working a US Shift to keep the sales engine running smoothly. Day-to-day, you will manage Zendesk tickets, process firewall MACD requests, prepare quotes and renewal paperwork, draft compliance proposals, and coordinate cross-functionally between customers and internal teams so account managers can focus on business development.
What you’ll do
- Resolve customer inquiries through Zendesk tickets with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal teams including Finance, Operations, Legal, and Technical, coordinating on behalf of customers
- Manage Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACDs) for firewall services and provide comprehensive support throughout the change process to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Prepare, review, and process quotes, order forms, and renewal paperwork for compliance and managed security subscriptions, coordinating with Account Managers for accuracy and timely delivery
- Draft professional proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) for PCI DSS compliance, security assessments, and other compliance-based engagements in collaboration with Account Managers
- Respond promptly to requests from the sales team, providing administrative support and ensuring documentation and processes are in place to support deal closure
What you’ll bring
- 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in sales support, sales coordination, or business operations roles
- Strong proficiency with ticketing and CRM systems such as Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in documentation and financial records
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and proactively problem-solve issues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Nice to have
- Experience in the cybersecurity or technology industry
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
- Experience with firewall technologies or network security concepts
- Prior experience with Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms
