Gen AI Lead Consultant

About the role

The Gen AI Lead Consultant role within Infosys's IMPACT (AI & Automation) department in Bangalore leads AI and Generative AI consulting engagements from problem definition through solution design, development, and deployment. Day-to-day work includes identifying Gen AI opportunities with account teams via hackathons and workshops, conducting demos and maturity assessments, architecting and building Gen AI solutions, guiding implementation teams on data analysis and modeling, and providing thought leadership and Responsible AI guidance. The role also involves reviewing proposals, managing change requirements, coaching teams, and driving strategy to scale AI/Gen AI within client accounts.

What you’ll do

• Identify AI and Generative AI opportunities and use cases with account teams through hackathons, workshops, and brainstorming sessions
• Conduct AI/Generative AI sessions and demos to help account teams identify use cases
• Provide technical expertise and thought leadership to guide account teams in adopting AI-driven solutions
• Map Infosys and market AI/Generative AI tools and platforms to identified opportunities
• Help account teams with AI/Generative AI maturity assessments and improvement, and conduct Generative AI readiness surveys
• Conduct POCs and guide implementation teams on data analysis, preprocessing, and modeling to extract insights
• Evaluate and select appropriate AI/Generative AI tools and machine learning models for tasks
• Architect Generative AI solutions with account teams and support implementation teams in designing, building, and deploying solutions using Python/PyTorch and open-source technologies

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's (B.Tech/M.Tech/BE/ME) degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, RPA Consulting, designing AI/ML solutions, and building and deploying models on Cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS) and/or On-Premise
• 5+ years of experience building solutions using Python, NLP, Chatbots, RPA, etc.
• 6+ years of experience in project and stakeholder management
• 1+ years of experience with Generative AI, GPT, LLMs, and Gen AI models
• Very good communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of Responsible AI and Data Privacy principles for ethical data handling, transparency, and accountability
• Ability to identify AI and Generative AI opportunities and use cases in discussions with account teams
