Abnormal AI’s Backend Engineering team builds customer‑facing services that power SOC teams to search, remediate, and quarantine malicious email across multi‑tenant environments. The Software Engineer 2 designs and implements backend services, API endpoints, and observability for high‑reliability, high‑speed email security workflows. Work is hybrid in Bangalore, India, with on‑site days and remote flexibility. The role mentors junior engineers, leverages AI development tools, and collaborates with product and tech leads to deliver end‑to‑end features.
