About the role

NCR Atleos seeks a Platform Engineer II / Payment Postilion Engineer to support, maintain, and administer payments platforms across Mumbai and Hyderabad. Day-to-day work includes advanced troubleshooting of system incidents, planning and managing infrastructure and application changes, performing backup/restore and disaster recovery testing, preparing operational reports with SQL and stored procedures, supporting UAT and development processes, and participating in a 24x7 on-call support rotation. The role also involves supporting PCI and ISO compliances and coaching junior team members. This is a hybrid, full-time position.

What you’ll do

  • Support, maintain, and administer payments platforms
  • Plan, implement, and manage infrastructure and application changes while preventing customer impacts
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of customer and internally reported system questions and incidents
  • Document processes, procedures, and environments and review technical specifications
  • Prepare operational records and reports using stored procedures and ad-hoc SQL queries
  • Manage and perform essential functions for effective system backup and restore testing
  • Manage and perform periodic recovery testing of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuation plans
  • Support UAT and development processes and support PCI and other ISO compliances within environments

What you’ll bring

  • Postilion experience and experience supporting ATM- or POS-driving platforms or transaction (EFT) processing switches
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Level 2-3 payments technical support and implementation
  • Experience with payments framework maintenance and operations
  • Experience with databases, writing SQL queries, and using stored procedures
  • Experience with crypto, security, and compliance regulations applicable to transaction processing
  • Post-secondary education or relevant, proven experience
  • IT-related degree or relevant, proven experience
  • Willingness to participate in a 24x7 support rotation
