The role blends deep .NET expertise with people leadership, Agile delivery, and cross‑functional collaboration. Responsibilities include leading design and development of C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET Core applications, modernizing legacy VB.NET code, enforcing code quality, mentoring developers, facilitating sprint ceremonies, coordinating QA and DevOps, driving testing practices, ensuring performance and security, and improving CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has 6+ years .NET development experience, 2+ years people‑leadership, strong C# skills, experience with REST APIs, microservices, Git, Azure DevOps, Agile, and a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Lead design/development of .NET applications (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET Core)
- Modernize legacy VB.NET apps to C#/.NET Core
- Enforce code reviews, coding standards, SOLID
- Break down technical requirements into stories/tasks
- Align technical patterns with architects
- Mentor developers, conduct 1:1s, support career growth
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives
- Coordinate QA, DevOps, release readiness
- Drive unit/integration/API testing, shift‑left practices
- Ensure performance, resilience, security compliance
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation
- Root cause analysis, production incident resolution
- Monitor app health with Application Insights, dashboards
- Collaborate with Product Owners, DevOps, QA, Architecture, Security
What you’ll bring
