About the role

Applied Materials seeks a SAP Global Trade Services Solution Architect to lead design and implementation of SAP GTS solutions in Bangalore. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to capture trade compliance requirements, architecting complex processes, and integrating SAP GTS with ECC, CRM, and S/4HANA. The architect will produce functional and technical specifications, guide development teams, oversee testing and deployment, and provide production support. Leadership of cross‑functional and global delivery teams, managing projects within scope, budget, and schedule, is essential. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and experience in SAP GTS modules such as Sanctioned Party Screening, Customs Management, and Trade Preference Management are required. The position is full‑time, on‑site, with 20% travel and relocation eligibility.

What you’ll do

Work with stakeholders to understand trade compliance requirements
Architect and design complex business processes across teams
Prepare functional and technical specifications
Configure SAP GTS modules and integrate with SAP ECC, CRM, S/4HANA
Oversee solution build, testing, deployment and lifecycle upgrades
Provide production support, root cause analysis and preventive actions
Collaborate with global business units for technology alignment
Lead teams including offshore members for solution delivery
Manage global cross‑functional projects within scope, budget and timeline

What you’ll bring

8-10+ years in SAP GTS as Functional Analyst or Solution Architect
Deep expertise in SAP GTS modules: Sanctioned Party Screening, Customs Management, Trade Preference Management
Hands‑on integration of SAP E4H with ECC, CRM, S/4HANA
Ability to author functional and technical specifications for customizations
Proven experience leading cross‑functional global delivery teams
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Nice to have

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
SAP GTS certification
SAP S/4HANA certification
