About the role

Operations Data Strategy Team at Amgen drives enterprise digital transformation. The Data & Information Architect designs and deploys information models, knowledge graphs, and generative AI solutions to modernize data creation, governance, and consumption across pharmaceutical operations. Works with stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable AI‑enabled data products using SQL, SPARQL, Databricks, and FAIR data principles. Hyderabad, on-site, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop connected data solutions using information modeling, knowledge graphs, and generative AI
• Build intelligent systems integrating structured and unstructured data for automation and insight generation
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts in SQL and SPARQL and scale them to enterprise data products
• Apply FAIR data principles and ensure compliance with responsible AI and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and domain experts to define use cases and translate requirements
• Establish best practices, standards, and reusable components for model‑driven data design

What you’ll bring

• 5-8 years experience in Data Science or related field
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant discipline
