Electrical New Product Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering for semiconductors and displays, seeks an Electrical New Product Manufacturing Engineer in Bangalore. This role develops new product BOMs, validates operation methods, and partners with senior engineers on manufacturing strategies and design reviews. The position is full-time and located in Bangalore, India.

What you’ll do

• Develops, implements, and releases new product BOMs for medium complex assemblies
• Participates in design reviews providing DFA, DFTp, and operational efficiency feedback
• Partners with Sr NPMEs in E3S schematics review and cable routing virtual analysis
• Develops and validates Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for assemblies
• Executes change control processes including ECOs, NSRs, and CCB
• Documents product issues and assists in root cause analysis
• Leads the Managed Build process for assemblies/modules

What you’ll bring

• Working knowledge of Electrical NPME role
• Ability to develop and release new product BOMs
• Experience with design reviews (DFA, DFTp)
• Knowledge of E3S schematics and routing analysis
• Familiarity with change control processes (ECOs, NSRs)
• Physical ability to work in clean room environments
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
