Sr. Business Analyst

About the role

The Sr. Business Analyst joins the Global Data Analytics (GDA) team within Finance Operations to drive data-driven decision-making for global finance processes. This role focuses on optimizing Accounts Payable and Receivable operations by developing advanced analytics solutions, dashboards, and financial models. The position is based in Hyderabad, India, and operates under a Hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Lead complex data analysis projects to identify operational efficiency opportunities
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models, dashboards, and reporting solutions
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data-driven solutions
• Conduct analysis of financial and operational metrics to identify trends and anomalies
• Design and implement KPIs to measure operational performance and financial health
• Create and maintain documentation for processes, methodologies, and analytical frameworks
• Partner with AP/AR leaders to execute analytical opportunities and reduce defects
• Use Tableau, QuickSight, or SQL to deliver valuable insights and govern metric definitions

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating BI reports using Tableau or Power BI
• Experience defining requirements and using data/metrics to draw business insights
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• Proficiency with Excel
