About the role
AWS Professional Services team helps customers design, build, and operate complex cloud solutions. As a Delivery Consultant you will architect, migrate, and optimize database workloads to AWS services such as Aurora, RDS, and Redshift, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery. Bengaluru office, on-site work model, with opportunities to mentor and lead proof‑of‑concept initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement scalable, secure AWS database solutions
- Gather requirements and propose migration strategies for Oracle/SQL Server workloads
- Act as trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging cloud technologies
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery
- Mentor team members and create reusable artifacts
- Collaborate with internal AWS ProServe India partners on proof‑of‑concept projects
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years database administration experience
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3)
- Advanced SQL query writing
- Migrating Oracle/SQL Server to Aurora PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Scripting automation (Python, Perl, Ruby)
- Knowledge of security/compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Experience with NoSQL or big data technologies (Hive, Spark, HBase)
- AWS Professional level certification
