Senior Associate Automation Tester Emerging Technologies Advisory

About the role

Senior Associate Automation Tester in PwC’s Emerging Technologies Advisory practice in Bengaluru. This role focuses on helping clients identify, prioritize, and integrate emerging technologies to solve business challenges. You will design and implement test automation solutions for web services and UI, leveraging tools such as SoapUI Pro, Selenium (Java), and Robot Framework (Python). The position requires strong Java programming, scripting in Groovy, Python, or Shell, and proficiency in UNIX/Linux/Windows environments. You will work with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Kubernetes, and collaborate in a fast‑paced Agile setting. The role demands 5+ years of development or test automation experience, expertise in validating web services, and knowledge of TCP/IP, distributed systems, and databases. You will contribute to test automation infrastructure, write and maintain test scripts, and continuously learn new technologies. What you’ll do

• 5+ years of development and/or test automation experience (UI/Services).
• Programming and/or developing/designing large software systems.
• 5+ years of validating and verifying web services using SoapUI Pro with Groovy scripting, Selenium (Java) & Robot Framework (Python) scripts for web automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java; good scripting skills in at least one common language (Perl, Python, Shell).
• Highly proficient in UNIX/Linux/Windows environments; experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of internet technologies, distributed systems, TCP/IP networking, databases, Linux kernel.
• Experience on CICD pipeline & Jenkins.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues on correcting software issues.
• Contribute to test automation infrastructure by writing and augmenting test scripts and/or test libraries.
• Able to learn new technologies.
