About the role
Tekion is a cloud‑native automotive platform provider disrupting the industry with ARC, AEC, APC. The Software Platform Architect leads design, development, and evolution of scalable integration platforms, collaborating with engineering, product, and operations to set technology standards, guide architectural decisions, and ensure reliability, scalability, and security. Responsibilities include leading platform architecture, defining patterns, translating requirements, selecting technologies, overseeing integrations, reviewing architecture, addressing bottlenecks, documenting best practices, staying current with emerging tech, and mentoring teams.
What you’ll do
- Lead architecture of Integration and System Integrator Platforms
- Define architectural patterns, standards across engineering
- Translate business requirements into scalable, modular solutions
- Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, tools
- Oversee integration with internal and third‑party systems
- Conduct architecture reviews, guide engineering teams
- Identify and address bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, failures
- Maintain architecture documentation, best practices
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends
- Mentor and coach engineering teams on architecture principles
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's or Master's in CS or Software Engineering
- 10+ years software architecture, platform, large-scale systems
- Event‑driven, Kafka, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, MySQL, Postgres
- Java, SpringBoot, AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker
