About the role
Manufacturing Engineering team at GE Healthcare focuses on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for new product introductions. The Manufacturing Trainee Engineer will design fixtures, drive Lean initiatives, manage process improvements, and ensure EHS compliance while coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders. Bengaluru, on-site, hybrid schedule as needed.
What you’ll do
- Develop and document manufacturing processes for NPI
- Drive Lean initiatives and process/fixture improvements
- Design fixtures and tooling for manufacturing
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets
- Ensure EHS compliance and safety actions
- Interface with vendors and internal teams
- Monitor metrics such as cycle time, cost of quality, and labor efficiency
What you’ll bring
- BS degree in Engineering or Technology
