About the role
Accenture Technology Services team builds and maintains enterprise Linux/Unix infrastructure for global clients. The Senior Technology Support Engineer leads a distributed team of Linux/Unix administrators, drives incident resolution, change management, and automation initiatives across Debian, RHEL, AIX, Solaris and more. Role based in Bengaluru and Gurugram with on‑site work model, overseeing hybrid‑cloud integrations and compliance.
What you’ll do
- Lead and mentor Linux/Unix admin team
- Oversee incident, change and project tasks
- Act as escalation point for critical incidents
- Implement automation and IaC standards
- Architect and deliver Linux/Unix solutions
- Ensure OS lifecycle and compliance
- Manage vendor interactions and audits
- Develop runbooks and SOPs
What you’ll bring
- 8-10 years Linux/Unix infrastructure management
- Experience with AIX, Solaris, HP‑UX
- Proficiency in Ansible, Puppet, Terraform
- CI/CD pipeline exposure (Artifactory, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Security hardening and compliance (CIS, STIG)
- Leadership of a multi‑geography admin team
- Design and migration of OS solutions
- Hybrid‑cloud integration (Azure/AWS)
