Junior Engineer Packaging

About the role

GE Aerospace’s Packaging team in Pune drives end‑to‑end packaging operations for aerospace components, ensuring quality, safety, and on‑time delivery. The Junior Engineer supervises packaging suppliers, develops SOPs, coordinates with QC and ERP, and manages packaging design for corrugated and wooden crates. The role supports production planning, forecasting, and supplier negotiations to meet KPIs. On‑site in Pune with relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Supervise packaging suppliers
• Ensure EHS compliance
• Coordinate with QC
• Develop SOPs and check sheets
• Handle customer complaints
• Facilitate ERP inventory transactions
• Forecast packaging needs
• Reconcile packing and billing

What you’ll bring

• 3-5 years packaging experience
• Experience in corrugation and wooden packaging

Nice to have

• Experience in Oracle transactions
• Knowledge of lean tools
