About the role
SAP Integration Team at Ecolab builds scalable SAP integration solutions connecting SAP S/4HANA to enterprise platforms. The SAP API Integration Developer designs and implements OData APIs, RAP services, and integration artifacts, collaborates with functional architects and middleware teams, and ensures performance and clean‑core compliance. Bangalore, Karnataka, India – On-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop OData V2/V4 services using SAP Gateway and RAP
- Build reusable, scalable APIs aligned with API‑first and clean‑core principles
- Develop integration artifacts for middleware such as MuleSoft
- Create optimized ABAP on HANA solutions using CDS Views and AMDP
- Enhance RAP‑based business objects and services
- Perform unit, integration, and API testing and troubleshoot performance issues
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and external vendors
- Participate in design and code reviews and platform governance
What you’ll bring
- 6-8 years SAP ABAP development
- Experience with S/4HANA
- ABAP on HANA (CDS, AMDP)
- SAP Gateway & OData services
- RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- API design (REST, JSON, OAuth)
- Integration patterns (real-time, batch, event-driven)
- Agile/DevOps environment
