About the role
Senior Engineer – Marketing Integrations & APIs at Electrolux drives the global MarTech strategy by designing cloud-native, API-first solutions on Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities include architecting scalable integration patterns for platforms such as BlueConic, Iterable, SAP CDC, Qualtrics, and Dynamic Yield; building event‑driven pipelines with Apache Kafka or Azure Event Hub; and deploying resilient microservices using Java, Quarkus, Kubernetes, and AKS. The role requires hands‑on leadership across the development lifecycle, ensuring observability, security, and compliance with GDPR/CCPA. Candidates will collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, data, CX) to translate business requirements into reusable, high‑performance components. What you’ll do
- Design and implement scalable, secure, cloud-native architecture patterns to support integration across key marketing platforms including BlueConic (CDP), Iterable (Marketing Automation), SAP CDC (Identity & Consent), Qualtrics (Experience Management), and Dynamic Yield (Personalization).
- Design and develop API-first and event-driven integrations to enable real-time data flow, trigger-based activation, and experience orchestration across distributed systems.
- Lead the implementation of asynchronous messaging patterns using technologies like Apache Kafka or Azure Event Hub, supporting reliable, scalable event consumption and processing.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to build and deploy resilient microservices on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Java, Quarkus, and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, AKS).
- Translate complex MarTech business requirements into modular, reusable, and high-performance components that promote speed, stability, and scale.
- Provide hands‑on technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle, including coding, configuration, observability, and CI/CD practices.
- Promote engineering best practices in documentation, security, telemetry (logs, metrics, traces), and scalability for all integration services.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and implement consent‑aware data handling in integration flows.
- Guide the team in applying best practices for distributed locking, retry policies and error handling for robust integration pipelines.
